Privacy Policy

Effective date: [to be set on publication]

This Privacy Policy explains how [Legal entity name](“SepRoom,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the SepRoom web application and website (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

We collect only what the Service needs to work:

  • Account information. Your email address, and — if you sign in with Google — your name and profile image as provided by Google. We do not receive your Google password.
  • Content you upload. The artwork files you import and the color separations, previews, and film outputs generated from them, together with project settings such as your ink sets and garment choices.
  • Payment information. When paid plans launch, billing is handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We receive limited details such as your subscription status and the last four digits of your card; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Technical and usage data. Standard log data (IP address, browser and device type, timestamps) and cookies strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to operate the Service.

How we use your information

  • To provide the Service — authenticate you, store your projects, and run separations.
  • To process payments and manage your subscription.
  • To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and diagnose problems.
  • To respond to your support requests.
  • To meet legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your uploaded artwork to train machine-learning models.

How your information is shared

We share data only with service providers that help us run SepRoom, including:

  • Cloud hosting and storage (for the application, your projects, and files).
  • Google, if you choose to sign in with Google.
  • Stripe, for payment processing (once paid plans launch).

These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the Service.

Data retention

We keep your account data and content for as long as your account is active. Deleting a project removes its artwork and separations and frees the associated storage. When you close your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to meet legal obligations.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@seproom.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
